Do you do crossfit? Why? Why not? What are your experiences? How long have you been doing it for? What were you doing before you started crossfit?

I stand here in my brothers’ condo in Chicago (more specifically Wrigleyville) thinking about crossfit. Why? I’ve been told there are at least 5 crossfit gyms in Chicago. I have never been to one anywhere but want to go badly. If I go today then I won’t workout.
What will I do then? I’ll watch. I’ll talk with others. I’ll find out what they eat and why they are there. Maybe I will interview someone. Maybe a few. Maybe I will be incredibly inspired and will join a crossfit gym myself.
Whatever the case may be, the soonest I will be joining a gym is, well, never.
This does not mean I won’t ever do crossfit. Maybe I will join a gym again. That is far far away though. I prefer working outside or in my home for 10-20 minutes at a time. I enjoy moving as much as possible all day long. I love to DANCE. Play Ultimate frisbee. Go on hikes. You know… play!
Tell me. Please. Why should I – Primal Toad – do crossfit? Or should I not? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
