Do you eat heart healthy saturated fat?
It’s no longer “artery-clogging saturated fat.” I mean, it is for some. Ok, for most. But I’m ready to spread the truth. It’s what I enjoy doing because the health of society is going down the drain.
You see, saturated fat is a nutrient just like Vitamin A. You don’t avoid Vitamin A, right? Then why do you avoid saturated fat? Do you have any idea? Is it just because it’s “common knowledge” that saturated fat will end your life early?
Do you even know what saturated fat is? Before you avoid a nutrient, consider educating yourself about that nutrient. I’ll help you out with the basics. Basics that are “common knowledge.”
- It’s a fatty acid where all carbon bonds are tied up with a hydrogen atom
- Stable at room temperature and thus best for cooking (think butter)
- Cell membranes are nearly 50% saturated fat
- Usually comes packed with fat-soluble vitamins like A, K2,D, E
- Medium chain saturated fatty acids can be used as quick energy (butter)
- When you fast (or just lose weight), you are “eating” your own saturated fat

Wednesday, July 18 Update: As you can see this giveaway is over and a winner has been chosen. I have just emailed the winner and will be shipping her a t-shirt right away.
The t-shirts are on sale for $15 through the end of July. I make a whopping $1.10 or $2.10 on each sale. I decided I want to really spread the truth about health and wellness!
Good luck! I’m going to enter this giveaway too just to test it out. If I somehow win then I’ll of course choose another winner. I own this t-shirt in green and blue!
