4 Amazing Things You’re NOT Doing Every Day!

Rainbow

The following essay is written by Eric Hulse. Enjoy!

If you’re reading this, I’m pretty sure that your life is already quite amazing!

And, if you’re like me, you want to be to the MOST “amazingest” that you can at ALL times!

However, when working with my clients to help fine tune their health, I always find that they fall short in these four areas.

Now, don’t let your “amazing factor” slip, by NOT incorporating these into your day.

Sleeping by 10:30 pm

Ah yes, sleep our old friend!

Getting to bed by 10:30 pm each night will help to restore ournatural sleep cycleand regulate the hormones responsible for hel ping our bodies grow and repair both physically and psychologically.

However, due to our hectic lives, indoor lighting, and modern toys (i.e., laptops, iPods, and kindles), our bodies are constantly fooled to be in the “get up and go” mode!

This places a tremendous stress on our bodies which will inevitably lead to, weight gain and chronic fatigue (amongst other things!).

And there’s nothing amazing about gaining unwanted weight and feeling tired all day!

You’re way too AMAZING:

  1. Decrease the amount of stimulants you take throughout the day (coffee, soda, energy drinks). Or at least stop drinking them after noon.
  2. Turn off all lights and electronics 1 – 2 hours before bed. Do things by candlelight (it’s more sexy any way!).
  3. Do something relaxing like reading, meditating, or drinking a cup of tea to help calm you down.

Meditating

Meditating is about being mindful and being kind. When we are mindful of our actions we bring awareness back to our lives! It’s in this awareness that we realize how incredible things really are!

That’s IT!

You don’t have to run to Tibet and live on a mountain top for the rest of your life to bring the greatness of meditation into your life.

We are surrounded by the love of nature, the gift of laughter, and the taste of wonderful food!

You’re way too AMAZING:

  1. Follow your breath for 5-10 mins each day.
  2. Go for a quiet walk while being aware of the warmth of the sun, the gentle breeze, and the scent of the trees.
  3. Bring awareness to your breath when feeling anxious or stressed.

Being Creative

I believe we all owe the world our creative side.

There is something inside of you that ONLY YOU can show us!

This gift was granted to you so the world can see who you REALLY are and LEARN from what YOU have to tell us!

This can only be done through creativity and self expression!

What were you meant to show the world?

You’re way too AMAZING:

  1. Find a way to express your TRUE nature. Do you love to write, sing, paint, dance, problem solve?
  2. Find a way to express your talents and share them with others and the world!

Showing Gratitude

The most AMAZING thing that I’ve added to my day, is taking time to show gratitude.

Each morning before I get out of bed, I think of something that I’m grateful for!

This brings perspective to my day and allows me to see how fantastically AMAZING my life truly is!

If you woke up in a warm bed, can fill your belly, and have the internet to read this article, you have something to be grateful for!

You’re way too AMAZING:

Watch this video.

Ok my friend!

Go and add these 4 AMAZING things to your life (one at a time if you have to)!

You won’t regret it!
